So... how much detail to give...? I expect this will change over time because I just want to get this site up and running so I can actually go and do something exciting on the first day of my gap year. Suffice to say, I am middle-aged... assuming 46 years old counts as middle aged. I am married with 3 teenage boys. I recently quit what most people would consider a good job. In fact, the common response to my news is to tell me how brave I am which slightly worries me. Bravery is facing up to a serious disease or mounting a charge into overwhelming odds. I think what people really mean is foolish.
